2026 Chicago Blackhawks Alumni Scholarship Recipients Announced

York Hockey Club – 2026 Chicago Blackhawks Alumni Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Chicago Blackhawks Alumni Association, founded in 1987 by legendary former players including Stan Mikita, Keith Magnuson, and Cliff Koroll, continues its mission of supporting Illinois youth hockey, particularly at the high school level. As part of this commitment, the Alumni annually awards scholarships of $7,500 per year for four years, totaling $30,000.

This year, Alex Pastrinak is among the distinguished recipients. The scholarship honors Illinois high school hockey players based not only on athletic ability but on a combination of academics, financial need, character, community service, and the applicant essay.

York Hockey Club congratulates Alex on this outstanding achievement! He has exemplified leadership, dedication, and sportsmanship both on and off the ice. We are proud to see him recognized and wish him the very best as he embarks on the next chapter of his journey.
